About sigilOS (short) sigilOS is a capability-secure operating system written entirely in Sigil, a new memory-safe systems language — from the firmware to the desktop, with zero C. Authority is explicit: software can touch only what it is handed, enforced by the hardware and proven before the code runs. It boots on real hardware today and is built in the open from Manhattan, Kansas.

The canonical messages

For security leaders You already know where breaches come from. So do we — and we removed it. Authority you never grant can't be abused: enforced by the hardware, proven before the code runs. Not detection. Not a patch. The foundation itself.
In plain terms Today's computer is a building where every worker gets a master key, and security is the endless work of watching them. sigilOS gives each worker a key to exactly one room — and the locks are the walls themselves, so a key can't be copied, forged, or picked. There's nothing to catch, because there's nothing to abuse.
The bet, in one breath Almost every breach traces back to software holding authority it never should have had. That's a foundation problem, not a patch problem — so we built a new foundation, and it already boots on real hardware. One safe substrate, from a doorbell to a jet fighter.
